How do I install a template?
To install a template, first run the installer (i.e. NOF_templateName.exe). Open NetObjects Fusion, click on File> New Site> From Template and select the template (i.e. NOF_templateName.zip) that you recently purchased and downloaded. Once you have completed these steps, NetObjects Fusion will open the website template in Site View.

Where do I find a template after I install it?
By default, the installer will recognize the installation path of NetObjects Fusion and create a NetObjects Design Center sub-directory in this location.
For example:
C:\Program Files\NetObjects\NetObjects Fusion 10.0\Templates\NetObjects Design Center

What is a template and how can I use it?
A template is a pre-constructed website and design that contains text and images placeholders that you can change to give your site a more personal and attractive look and feel.

How do I import a template in Fusion?
Open Fusion, click File> New Site> From Template and select the template (i.e. NOF_templateName.zip).

What are the accepted payment methods?
We currently accept Discover, Visa, and Mastercard.

What do I do if I lost my template installation file?
Please contact support@netobjects.com with your case for further review.

Is there a backup CD available?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a backup CD available. It is highly recommended to backup your template file to disc or other form of storage.

How can I change/personalize the splash screen page?
Select the Splash Page from Site View, and click on Page View; then select the Flash Object. Once selected, you can change the color and text attributes from the properties palette.

How can I add more pages to a template?
The template is just like any other site you create with NetObjects Fusion. One way to add more pages is just click on New Page. The other way is to copy and paste an existing page and rename it.

What can I do about the filler text?
The filler text both within the template and the psd file are just placeholders for text. They are there to show what a site would look if it were valid text in these areas.

Is there a way to modify the filler text?
In the template you would select the text and add your own text inside the text box. In the psd you can hide it, create your own, or simply double-click the text layer and enter your own text.

Can I change the design of the template?
Absolutely! Just like changing the text you can also change the color or the template. You will need to locate the color variation layer located on the psd and double-click it. From here, you can use the sliders to change the color you would like to use. You can also add any picture and logos to give it a more personal look. Once you finish adding your special touch save the slices.

How do I create slices or save the images?
Each psd is pre-sliced and labeled. In Adobe Image Ready, you can click File>Save Optimized As> and choose location. On this window you can also select if you want to save only select slices or all the slices.

NetObjects Fusion 10 - Saving Slice Images

My browser will not allow me to download the template for your site?
If you are currently running IE7, the easiest solution is to save the file as another extension (i.e. .zip or .RAR). Once you have downloaded the file, right click it and rename the file back to the original extension (.exe).

Is this template mine, can I share it with someone, etc. ?
For a better understanding on legalities regarding ownership of the template please refer to the Terms of Use.txt

Can I add Flash to my templates?
Some of our templates do have some Flash objects on the page. You can add your own personal Flash swf files to a template the same way you would normally add them through NetObjects Fusion.

What version of NetObjects Fusion are the templates compatible with?
The templates are compatible with versions 7.0 –10.0; however, some templates may contain objects that are only compatible with version 8.0 and above (such as templates that contain database objects).
